The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has released the result of recruitment of constables for more than 21 thousand posts in Bihar Police on 9 May, i.e., last Friday. Selection Board Chairman Jitendra Kumar released the result through a press conference and said that a total of 21,391 posts have been selected, in which women have come out ahead. The total selection includes 11,178 women, 10205 men and 8 transgenders. This also includes 30 home guards and 68 dependents of freedom fighters. The selected candidates will have to go to their respective areas from June 1 to June 3 to make an appointment.

General category - 8556 constables
EWS category - 2140 constables
SC (Scheduled Caste) - 3400 constables
ST (Scheduled Tribe) - 228 constables
EBC (Extremely Backward Class) - 3842 constables
BC (Backward Class) - 2570 constables
WBC - 655 constables

First of all, go to the official website of the Central Selection Board, csbc.bihar.gov.in.
Then, on the homepage, click on the final merit list of candidates for the post of Bihar Police Constable.
After that, a new window will open, which will have the roll numbers of the selected candidates.
Now find your roll number by pressing Ctrl + f.
Save the result PDF for future use.
More than 11 lakh candidates appeared in the written exam.
A total of 17,87,720 candidates had registered for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment, out of which only 11,95,101 candidates appeared in the written exam. The written exam was conducted in 6 phases in August 2024. However, only 1,07,079 candidates were able to pass the written exam and were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in the next round. In that too, only 86,539 candidates appeared, which included 53,960 men, 32569 women and 10 transgenders.
The exam will be held soon for 19,838 posts.
Selection Board Chairman Jitendra Kumar told the press conference that at present, the recruitment process is going on for 19,838 constable posts, in which 17 lakh applications have been received, which are being reviewed. He informed that a written examination will be conducted for this recruitment process in the coming months.
