Mumbai: A case of corporate fraud amounting to approximately Rs 95 lakh has been registered against five former employees and consultants of R.K. Swamy Pvt. Ltd., a leading market research and communications company.
FIR Filed Over Data Theft and Misuse of Company Resources
The FIR, approved by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-1), was lodged following a detailed complaint highlighting misappropriation of resources and data theft spanning from 2022 to March 25, 2025.
Accused Allegedly Formed Competing Firms While on Payroll
The alleged fraud occurred at the company’s office located at Esplanade House, Ground Floor, 29 Hazarimal Somani Marg, Fort. The complaint names the following individuals as wanted accused like Vishwamohan Ravindran, Dr. Sunil Raghavprasad Pandey, Pooja Sameer Rohela alias Pooja Agroyi, Rishi Chauhan and Vishnu Shinde
According to the FIR, Vishwamohan Ravindran, Dr. Sunil Pandey, and Vishnu Shinde — all former consultants or staff members associated with CMEFI (Centre for Medical Education and Field Investigations) — allegedly abused their official positions for personal gain.
They are accused of misusing the staff and resources of CMEFI and Hansa MedCell (an R.K. Swamy group company) to set up rival businesses under the names: Triwellness Pvt. Ltd., Weston Medical Education Foundation of India (WMEFI), and CME Academy.
Furthermore, Pooja Rohela (alias Agroyi) and Rishi Chauhan, both formerly associated with Hansa Research’s IBD (Institutional Business Division), are accused of establishing a competing entity called Crackdcode Consumer Insight LLP while still employed.
Laptop Tampering and Data Removal Alleged
Rohela is also accused of intentionally replacing the SSD hard drive in a company laptop after resigning, thereby removing critical proprietary data from R.K. Swamy systems.

Investigations are underway.
