IMD Alert: After the monsoon season has ended in North India, it remains active in the southern part of the country. Consequently, rain continues in many states.

From October 16th to 20th, Tamil Nadu, the Kerala coast, and the Karnataka coast, along with surrounding areas, may experience intense rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not issued any rain warnings for the capital, Delhi, today (Thursday, October 16th). The minimum temperature will be 19 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures will now drop in Uttar Pradesh as well. People in many districts are starting to feel chilly in the mornings and nights. According to information from the regional weather center in Lucknow's Amausi, the weather will remain dry in both the eastern and western divisions of Uttar Pradesh on October 16th. Currently, there are no warnings for rain or thunderstorms. All 75 districts of the state are in the green zone. Similar weather is forecast for October 18th and 19th.
The weather in Lucknow will be normal today, Thursday. The minimum temperature is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius and the maximum 32 degrees Celsius. Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a meteorologist at Banaras Hindu University, said that light northwesterly winds have now begun to blow across Uttar Pradesh. These winds will gradually reduce the minimum temperature in various districts of the state, further increasing the cold.

Rain is not expected in Bihar today. However, some districts will remain cloudy. Heat may be a problem in Patna, Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Begusarai, Darbhanga, and Samastipur districts. Heavy rains in July and August caused flooding in several cities in Bihar.

Rain is not expected in any district of Madhya Pradesh on October 16th. The Meteorological Department has placed all districts in the green zone. No rain warning has been issued for any district in Rajasthan today. All districts have been placed in the green zone. The weather will remain clear during Diwali.
