Phasmophobia is marking its fifth anniversary with a host of exciting features including Twitch Drops, double XP, real-life merchandise, and a new Veteran ID Card and Badge just for logging into the game.
Phasmophobia made its console debut in October 2024, but has been thriving on Steam since September 2020. To celebrate the five-year milestone, Kinetic Games is launching a third Twitch Drops campaign that runs until the end of this week.
If you've been keeping up with our coverage, you'll have already snagged the Stream Sentinel ID Card & Badge from June's Chronicle Update Phasmophobia Twitch Drops campaign (the first one ever), as well as the Reaper ID Card & Badge from August's Twitch Drops campaign that coincided with the Grafton Farmhouse map rework.
You won't want to miss the third one, which offers the animated Veteran ID Card and Badge as part of the latest Phasmophobia Twitch Drops campaign. But there's more. You can also grab the standard variant of the Veteran ID Card and Badge simply by logging into the game, as well as nabbing double XP throughout the Phasmophobia fifth anniversary event.
For those looking to celebrate in the real world, the launch of the merch store last week means you can finally purchase some Phasmophobia merchandise for the ghost hunter in your life.

How to get Phasmophobia Twitch DropsUnlike previous campaigns, the Phasmophobia Twitch Drops campaign for the game's fifth anniversary isn't divided into two parts for the animated and standard ID card and badge variants. Instead, you can unlock the standard Veteran ID Card and Badge simply by logging into the game during the anniversary period which runs from Monday, September 15 to Sunday, September 21 (as detailed in the blog post).
If you've got your eye on the animated Veteran ID Card and Badge, then you'll need to clock up those watch hours during this week's Phasmophobia Twitch Drops campaign which has a more specific window, running from 4am PDT / 7am EDT / 12pm BST Monday, September 15 to 4am PDT / 7am EDT / 12pm BST Monday, September 22.
You need to watch a total of two hours or any participating Phasmophobia stream – it's not just limited to partnered streamers this time.
That being said, if you're looking to pick up some tips and tricks about the game as you earn your reward, my personal recommendations for streamers to watch are DontFightDucks or FlashForce, but you'll need to check their streaming schedules to catch them online.
