Strictly Come Dancing celebrity Ross King was in tears as he got ready for dance number two. The Good Morning Britain star, 63, received a lowly 10 in the opening week on the BBC dance contest.
And he smashed that score the second time around, bagging a total of 15 by the judges. But his dance reduced him to tears before the scoring was announced. In his promotional video, the veteran presenter, who is based stateside, returned to his native Scotland.
After his professional dance partner, Jowita Przystal, revealed they would be dancing the waltz to The Proclaimers' tune Sunshine On Leith, Ross took her to Loch Lomond. There, the pair opened up on why the area was so special to Ross.

Ross described himself as a "very proud Scots person". And he explained he moved away for work, but could envision himself returning one day.
When Jowita asked why the loch has a special place in his heart, he said: "So many memories around here." The video showed the luscious scenery as the pair took to the water.
He then got emotional as he said: "My school friends, sister, yeah, I think about my mum and dad when I'm here. It's special. It's happy. It's a happy cry."
And the tears continued following his dance on the floor. The duo embraced as Ross wiped away the tears after completing their routine.
While judges were still keen to critique, they admitted he is certainly the "most improved" dancer so far. And he candidly admitted: "I want to be the poster boy, poster older man for people who can't dance but want to dance."
Before week two, Ross admitted he almost backed out of his dance after receiving the lowest score on the show in over 20 years. His tentative Cha Cha with Jowita landed him a lowly two points from both Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas.
Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke gave him just three. He admitted in a chat with the Mirror that he didn’t actually know if he’d get through the whole routine on the night.
"At one point I thought I may have to put my hands up and just say ‘maybe this is not for me’,” he confessed. “I was disappointed because I had done it better.
"And I think the slide was a little bit slippier than I realised. As we were dancing, Jowita was actually going, ‘Are you OK?’”
Ross admitted he was extremely happy to get to the end. He continued: "But I did genuinely have fun. For me, it's a TV show, it’s not a competition.”
