In Hamirpur district of UP, an uncle married his own niece. The uncle had an illicit relationship with his niece and she became pregnant. Fearing social disgrace, the uncle proposed marriage to his niece in front of the police, which everyone approved.

A case that puts relationships to shame has come to light in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here an uncle asked for his own niece in a temple and married her. Actually, the uncle had kept his orphan niece in his house for upbringing, after which he made her pregnant by having an illicit relationship with her. When the matter reached the police, the uncle married his own niece to avoid a lawsuit.

The case is from Sumerpur police station area. After the sudden death of her parents, a girl from the police station area started living in her maternal grandmother's house, then her uncle's eyes fell on her and he started wooing her and trapped her in his love trap and made illegal relations with her. Due to these illegal relations, the girl became pregnant, after which the whole matter came to light, the ground slipped from under the feet of the family and people started taunting them in various ways.

Uncle filled niece's demand in the temple

When the family came to know that the girl was pregnant, they took the girl to the police station. When the police said that they would file a case against the uncle, the uncle told the family and the villagers that he would marry his niece and make her his bride, after which the family and the villagers agreed. The uncle went to the village temple and filled his niece's hair with vermilion and made her his wife. However, some people were against this marriage and were advising it by calling it murder of relationships.

The settlement was done in the presence of police

When the pregnant woman reached Sumerpur police station, the police immediately started investigating the case, but since the person who made the woman pregnant was her maternal uncle and the woman was living in her maternal uncle's house, the family thought it best to get them married. After the consent of their marriage in the police station, both of them got married in the temple. According to police station in-charge Anup Kumar, after the reconciliation of both the parties, both of them got married in the temple.
