M4 and M60 closed LIVE: Motorway chaos after horror 4-car crash and overturned lorry

Traffic chaos has been unleashed on commuters on not one but two motorways in England.

On the M60, a four-car collision has led to huge delays.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "The M60 in Greater Manchester is closed clockwise between J6 (Sale) and J9 (near Trafford Park) due to a serious collision involving four cars.

"Greater Manchester Police are working on scene and are currently leading the response to this closure.

"Due to the nature of the incident, we are unable to provide an estimated re-opening time."

An overturned lorry also caused disruption on the M4, but the motorway is now open.
