A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 79-year-old man.
West Yorkshire Police has has launched a murder investigation after an elderly man was assaulted on Aberford Road, Garforth, on Wednesday (October 29) evening.
He was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Detectives from West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and major Enquiry team are carrying out extensive enquiries.
