Prince Harry and Prince William may have seemed close when growing up, but a palace insider has exclusively revealed just how different they really were. As well as having "very different personalities", former royal butler Paul Burrell, who spent a decade working for Harry and William's mum Princess Diana, said that the two princes also approached things differently.
This included how they would handle their money. Burrell, who spent a lot of time with the two princes, spoke about one "kind" gesture, Harry, now 40, did as a young boy, which William, now 43, never participated in. The gesture involved Burrell's own sons, who would spend time with the royals at Highgrove.
Burrell, on behalf of Casino.org, exclusively revealed to Express.co.uk: "Harry was always a generous and sensitive boy. He would like nothing better than to give my boys a 'Pink Granny' or a 'Blue Granny'.
"Now you'd prefer a pink granny, because that was a £50 note and that's what he called it - it had his Granny's face on it! So now if anyone ever offers you a pink or a blue granny, definitely take the pink granny!
"He used to give out notes to my boys so they could save for a PlayStation or something. He was very kind.
"William wouldn't have done that, because William would be saving his money for something important."

Burrell, who worked for the late Queen before his decade serving Princess Diana, also said that even the way Harry and William would play, and what they would wear, were very different.
He said: "I remember Harry riding his chopper bike through the estate at Highgrove, coming down to play football with my boys, and William arriving in his model Aston Martin car.
"Harry would have holes in his jeans, and William would be immaculately dressed."
As well as being Princess Diana's butler up until her 1997 death, Burrell has been described as a close confidante of the late royal and has spoken fondly about the late princess since her tragic death.
