Princess Kate has gone viral on social media again after footage from her sweet interaction with a coughing baby has resurfaced. The Princess of Wales has made the early years development of children her life's work and has always championed awareness of the issue.
She even launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood in 2021 and the Shaping Us campaign in 2023. Kate has attended numerous engagements related to the cause, and during one of them, she was caught having an adorable interaction with a baby who was coughing during her appearance.
The incident in question took place in 2022, when the Princess visited the Royal Surrey County Hospital maternity unit in Guildford.
While there, Kate met with mothers, as well as staff who provide help to women experiencing mental health issues during their pregnancies or the initial post-natal period.
During a discussion with staff members and mothers in the hospital, Kate was caught on video being interrupted by a coughing baby.
The Princess took noticed, stopped and asked the baby with a big smile on her face: "Are you ok?"
The clip, which went viral when it first came out three years ago, has since resurfaced online.
