Princess Kate was all smiles on Thursday as she stepped out for her first visit to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. The Princess of Wales, 43, who has been the Royal Honorary Air Commodore since August 2023, seemed excited to visit the RAF station and learn more about the work that they do.
However, as well as talking about all things aviation, the princess also shared some rare updates about her children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven. When talking to those based at the station, the princess revealed just how much her kids love aviation, with Louis reportedly wanting to become a fighter pilot.
She then spoke to military families about what sports her children are currently enjoying.
As reported by Hello! magazine, the princess made the revelation when a young boy told her he liked playing football at school.
Kate responded: "That's what our boys are playing at the moment. Charlotte is playing hockey."
This is not the first time the princess has shared her children's love of sports, with Kate and William believed to be spending their weekends watching their children compete in various tournaments.
While it is known George and Louis like football, it is believed they also play rugby at Lambrook School.
It is also well-known that Princess Charlotte is a fan of both gymnastics and ballet.
It is believed the three children all take part in sporting clubs and are encouraged by their parents Kate and William, both 43, to do so.
In his TV appearance on The Reluctant Traveller series earlier this week, William even spoke about how important sport is, telling Canadian actor Eugene Levy that "keeping them busy with sports and being outdoors is really important".
Prince William and Princess Kate are also both believed to enjoy sporting activities, with tennis believed to be among their favourites.
